My journey from a high school dropout in Flint, Michigan, to a thought-provoking author began nearly fifty years ago after a chance encounter with a question about the afterlife. I was in Boston, planning to smuggle herbs from Colombia, when I met someone who invited me to a weekend retreat in New Hampshire.
There, I experienced a sense of love and connection that sparked a transformation in my life. Shortly after, I was arrested with 3,000 pounds of marijuana, and what followed was a period of deep self-reflection during four years of trials and prison. While incarcerated, I discovered The Urantia Book, along with other spiritual teachings that reshaped my understanding of life and purpose. This journey, filled with mistakes, lessons, and moments of grace, is what led me to the spiritual insights that now fuel my writing. My experiences with loss, faith, and redemption ultimately became the foundation for Wisdom Accelerators.
